Do you have a "bedtime routine"?

Yes, at Kirstin's Care, we have a structured bedtime routine to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition to sleep for all the children in our care. Our bedtime routine begins at 7:30pm. First, we engage the children in putting away their toys for the night, fostering a sense of responsibility and tidiness. Following this, we provide a nighttime snack for the children, while our caregivers begin to assemble cots and prepare linens for each child.

As the children finish their snack, we facilitate restroom breaks one at a time, allowing each child to brush their teeth before settling down for the night. By 8:30pm, all children are tucked into their cots and encouraged to drift off into a peaceful sleep. Our structured bedtime routine not only promotes healthy sleep habits but also ensures a calm and nurturing environment for all children in our care.

Is there a morning routine?

Yes, at Kirstin's Care, we have a structured morning routine to kickstart each day on a positive note. Our morning routine begins promptly at 6am, ensuring an early start for the children in our care. 

As the children awaken, they take turns for restroom breaks while our caregivers prepare a nutritious breakfast. By 6:30am, breakfast is served, providing essential fuel for the day ahead.

Following breakfast, our caregivers facilitate a rotation for morning hygiene tasks. Each child takes turns brushing their teeth, washing their face, combing their hair, and dressing for the day. This personalized approach ensures that each child receives individual attention and support in their morning routine.

Typically, parents begin picking up their children between 7am and 7:30am, allowing for a seamless transition from our morning routine to the rest of the day's activities. Our structured morning routine sets a positive tone for the day ahead, promoting independence, organization, and readiness for learning and play.

Can children bathe or shower while in your care?

No, children are not permitted to bathe or shower while under our care in accordance with state childcare licensing standards. We prioritize the safety and well-being of all children entrusted to us, and as such, we adhere strictly to regulations set forth by licensing authorities.

We kindly ask parents to ensure that their child is bathed prior to drop-off and dressed comfortably in sleeping clothes, such as pajamas. This helps to streamline our bedtime routine and ensures a smooth transition to sleep for all children in our care. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and nurturing environment for your child.

How much of an advanced notice do I give prior to dropping my child off?

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in planning drop-off arrangements for your child at Kirstin's Care. While we ask for at least a 24-hour notice to ensure smooth coordination and preparation, we understand that sometimes last-minute needs arise. If space is available and we can accommodate your child, we are happy to approve a last-minute drop-in.

To check for availability, we encourage you to call or text us before booking online. Our priority is to provide quality care for every child entrusted to us, and while we strive to accommodate all requests, it's important to note that state licensing regulations limit the number of children we can care for at any given time.

We understand the importance of flexibility for parents, and we'll do our best to accommodate your needs while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for all children in our care. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

What if my plans change at the last minute and I no longer need to bring my child?

At Kirstin's Care, we understand that plans can change unexpectedly. If you find yourself in a situation where you no longer need to bring your child as previously scheduled, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible.

For drop-in bookings, we offer refunds for payments made if you inform us of the change in plans ahead of time.

For weekly attendees, we create a credit for missed nights, which can be applied towards their next night of care. Since weekly attendees receive discounted tuition, we provide makeup days instead of refunds for any missed nights. These makeup nights must be used within 7 days of the missed nights to ensure flexibility and fairness for all families.

What are your payment options?

At Kirstin's Care, we strive to make the payment process as convenient and seamless as possible for our parents. Here's how you can pay for our services:

1. Payment Due Prior to Drop-off: Please note that all payments are due prior to drop-off. Your child's spot will not be reserved until payment is received.

2. Drop-Ins: For parents utilizing our drop-in services, payments can be made online through our website. Simply visit our services page and follow the prompts to complete your payment securely.

3. Regularly Enrolled Children: Parents whose children are enrolled regularly throughout the week will pay through our ProCare app. This app offers a convenient platform for managing payments and scheduling.

4. Payment Methods: We accept payment via Credit or Debit card, ACH bank transfer, and cash. If you plan to pay with cash at drop-off, please inform us in advance when scheduling your child's care.

Do you accept any subsidies?

Yes, at Kirstin's Care, we understand the importance of accessibility to quality childcare services for all families. We are pleased to accept Child Care Assistance offered through ChildCareGroup for full-time, part-time, and extended hours childcare.

If you require our information for enrollment purposes to provide to ChildCareGroup, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you in any way we can.

How do I enroll my child?

Enrolling your child at Kirstin's Care is a straightforward process designed to ensure a smooth transition for both you and your child. Here's a step-by-step guide:

1. Schedule a Tour: The first step is to visit our "Book Online" page and book a tour, either in-person or virtually. This tour is mandatory prior to enrollment and provides you with an opportunity to familiarize yourself with our facility, meet our caregivers, and ask any questions you may have.

2. Complete Admissions Paperwork: After your tour, you'll be provided with admissions paperwork to complete and submit. Along with the paperwork, we require a copy of your child's most recent vaccination record to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

3. Schedule Care: Once the admissions paperwork is complete and submitted, the next step is to schedule your child's first night or week of care with us. This step allows us to prepare for your child's arrival and ensure that we have the necessary staffing and resources in place to provide the best possible care.

4. Make Payment: The final step in the enrollment process is to make your first payment. Payments are due prior to drop-off, and your child's spot will be reserved once payment is received.
