Meet The Team
Kirstin Green- Founder
Known affectionately as Ms. Kay by both parents and children alike. With over two decades of dedicated experience in the childcare industry, I've worked in various licensed facilities and served as a trusted nanny for numerous families.
As a single mother of two wonderful children, Kaylee and Kalib, I understand the challenges parents face in finding trustworthy childcare, especially outside the typical Monday-Friday, 6am-6pm schedule. My journey began when I struggled to balance my career as a 911 dispatcher with the demands of finding quality care for my own children during non-standard hours.
Driven by my passion for children and fueled by my entrepreneurial spirit, I founded Kirstin's Care to provide a solution for parents like myself. Our services have evolved to meet the diverse needs of modern families. Whether you require occasional drop-in care for a few hours or consistent childcare throughout the week, we offer flexible options tailored to your schedule.

CERTIFIED CAREGIVERS
At Kirstin’s Care, the safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. That’s why each of our certified caregivers undergoes a thorough screening process before joining our team. All staff members are fingerprinted and cleared through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Central Background Check Unit, ensuring they meet state requirements for working in a licensed childcare facility. In addition, every caregiver completes the mandatory pre-service training required by DFPS, which includes Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect, sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) awareness (for infant caregivers), shaken baby syndrome, emergency preparedness, safe sleep practices, transportation safety, child growth and development, guidance and discipline, preventing the spread of communicable diseases, and preventing and responding to food allergies. This comprehensive training ensures our team is fully prepared to provide high-quality, safe, and developmentally appropriate care for every child entrusted to us.
